CBSE Class 10 Artificial Intelligence Latest Syllabus: Free PDF Download and Overview for Academic Session 2024-25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently released the latest syllabus for Artificial Intelligence for Class 10 students. This new syllabus aims to introduce students to the world of Artificial Intelligence and its applications through interactive and engaging activities. The syllabus has been designed to help students develop a readiness for understanding and appreciating AI and its role in our daily lives.

The syllabus is divided into four parts – Employability Skills, Subject Specific Skills, Practical Work, and Project Work/Field Visit/Student Portfolio. The Subject Specific Skills section covers various topics such as Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, AI Project Cycle, Advance Python, Data Science, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Evaluation.

In the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence unit, students will learn about the basics of AI and its applications. The AI Project Cycle unit will focus on the stages involved in the AI project cycle, such as problem scoping, data collection, data exploration, modelling, and evaluation. The Advance Python unit will cover basic Python programming concepts and libraries. The Data Science unit will introduce students to Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib for data analysis and visualization.

The Computer Vision unit will cover the basics of image representation, feature extraction, object detection, and segmentation. Students will also learn how to use Python libraries such as OpenCV for image processing tasks. The Natural Language Processing unit will introduce students to the concept of NLP and its applications, such as chatbots, sentiment analysis, and text processing.

The Evaluation unit will focus on the role of evaluation in the development and implementation of AI systems. Students will learn about different evaluation techniques and metrics used in AI, such as Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1 Score.

Overall, the CBSE Class 10 Artificial Intelligence syllabus is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of AI and its applications. By following this syllabus, students can develop essential skills in programming, data analysis, and machine learning. The syllabus also encourages students to work on practical projects and explore real-world applications of AI.
