AI algorithms can perform tasks that would typically require human intelligence, such as learning, problem-solving, perception, and language understanding. AI is widely used in various applications, from search engines to recommendation engines, but it is not limited to controlling robots.

Therefore, software robots are not part of robotics but are rather a separate entity within the realm of AI.

In conclusion, robotics and artificial intelligence are distinct fields that serve different purposes. Robotics involves building and programming physical robots, while AI focuses on developing intelligent computer programs. While there is some overlap between the two in the realm of artificially intelligent robots, it is essential to understand the differences to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of technology.
