Google’s New AI Chatbots Modeled on Celebrities – A Game Changer in Online Conversations

AI chatbots have become increasingly popular in recent years, with companies and startups utilizing this technology to engage with their audience in new and innovative ways. And now, it seems that Google is looking to join the chatbot craze by developing AI chatbots that are modeled after celebrities.

According to reports from The Information, Google is working on creating AI chatbots that people can hang out with, with the potential for launching them as early as this year. These chatbots will be powered by Google’s own chatbot technology, Gemini AI, which focuses on generative artificial intelligence and features a family of large language models.

While the celebrities who will be included in this project have not been disclosed, Google is reportedly looking to partner with influencers as well. Additionally, they are working on a feature that will allow people to create their own chatbots by describing their personalities and appearance.

This concept of AI chatbots modeled after celebrities is not entirely new, with Meta Platforms and startups already exploring similar ideas. Meta has online personalities based on popular figures like Charli D’Amelio and Mr. Beast, while start-up Character.AI includes celebrities like Tom Brady and Tony Soprano.

However, the widespread adoption of celebrity chatbots has yet to take off, and it will be interesting to see how Google’s entry into this space will be received by the audience. While Google has not confirmed or denied the rumors, it is speculated that this project could be more of an experiment and may be limited to Google Labs, where experimental products are tested.

There is also the possibility that these AI chatbots could be integrated with YouTube, allowing creators to engage with their audience in a whole new way. The Labs team at Google is reportedly working on this customizable chatbot endeavor, indicating that this project is well underway.

Overall, the development of AI chatbots modeled after celebrities has the potential to revolutionize how we interact online. Whether it’s through hanging out with your favorite celebrity or creating your own persona, the possibilities are endless. Google’s foray into this technology is certainly something to keep an eye on in the coming months.
