Media Accreditation Open for NASA’s Upcoming Crew-12 Mission
Excitement is building as NASA prepares for the launch of its 12th rotational mission. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, along with a Dragon spacecraft, is set to carry astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) for a critical science expedition. Liftoff will take place from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
Mission Timelines
NASA has targeted no earlier than Thursday, Jan. 15, for the splashdown of its Crew-11 mission. Following this, the agency, in collaboration with SpaceX and international partners, is gearing up for the launch of Crew-12, currently slated for Sunday, Feb. 15.
Meet the Crew
The Crew-12 mission will see a diverse team of astronauts onboard:
- Jessica Meir (NASA) – Commander
- Jack Hathaway (NASA) – Pilot
- Sophie Adenot (ESA) – Mission Specialist
- Andrey Fedyaev (Roscosmos) – Mission Specialist
This mission will mark the second spaceflight for Meir and Fedyaev, while Hathaway and Adenot will be making their inaugural journeys to the orbiting laboratory.

- International media without U.S. citizenship: Apply by 11:59 p.m. EST on Jan. 15.
- U.S. media and U.S. citizens representing international media: Apply by 11:59 p.m. EST on Jan. 18.
