Mantle Space Appoints Alexandra Livesey as Fractional Managing Director to Drive Growth in the South East

Exciting Growth at Mantle Space: Welcoming Alexandra Livesey

Cambridge is buzzing with news as Mantle Space, a prominent flexible workspace operator, appoints Alexandra Livesey as its fractional managing director. This strategic move aims to support the company’s ongoing expansion across the South East, illustrating a commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

A New Chapter with Alexandra Livesey

In her newly created role, Alexandra will report directly to founder and chief executive Guy Baker, overseeing day-to-day operations at Mantle Space’s eight centers. Leading a dedicated team of 45, she is poised to enhance operational performance and service delivery, all while steering the company towards its long-term growth goals.

Alexandra comes with a wealth of experience, particularly from the flexible workspace and hospitality sectors. Her previous role as chief operating officer at the international operator Clockwise saw her drive significant growth, and her expertise extends back over two decades in the hospitality industry. Notably, she played a key role in launching the boutique hotel brand Brama Hotels in 2025, further solidifying her credentials.

A Vision for Success

In her own words, Alexandra expresses her enthusiasm about joining Mantle Space: “Alignment of vision, energy, and passion for the industry and its people is very important to me. I’ve found this in abundance when meeting first with Guy and then the entire senior leadership team.” Her excitement is mirrored by the broader vision of Mantle Space, which is poised for an exciting future of growth and community-building.

Mantle Space: Leading the Way

Established in 2007, Mantle Space has grown to become the largest flexible workspace operator in Cambridge, recently earning recognition as a Great Place to Work in 2025. Their commitment to fostering innovation is evident in their recent expansion endeavors, including an impressive upgrade at their 95 Regent Street site, which now boasts more than 22,000 square feet. They also continue to manage The Bradfield Centre at Cambridge Science Park on behalf of Trinity College Cambridge, providing vital support to startups and established businesses across the East of England.

Looking Ahead

Guy Baker is optimistic about the future, stating: “From our first meeting, I knew Alexandra had the drive, expertise, and passion to lead Mantle Space through its next phase.” With new developments already in the pipeline, 2026 is set to be a pivotal year for the business.

As Mantle Space continues to thrive, the addition of Alexandra Livesey signals a fresh chapter filled with strategic growth and community engagement. We look forward to seeing how her leadership will steer the company’s mission and further solidify its place in the flexible workspace landscape.
